New Training Program Announced on Hybrid Work

OPM has announced a series of free training sessions for federal employees on “Thriving in a Hybrid Environment,” both virtual and in-person through June.

“These government-wide trainings will equip the federal workforce with tools and skills they can immediately use to improve performance and efficiency when serving in hybrid work environments,” OPM said.

Topics will include understanding the hybrid environment; effective performance management in a hybrid environment; hybrid norms, processes, and protocol for individuals and teams; tracked results to support performance accomplishments; and leadership traits in a hybrid environment.

In-person sessions will be held April 19 in Washington, D.C.; April 24 in Denver; May 10 in Atlanta; May 24 in San Francisco; June 14 in Kansas City, Mo.; and June 21 in Chicago, starting at 9:30 am local time each day.

Virtual sessions will be held 10 am-1 pm Eastern time on May 3 and 31 and June 14, and from 1-4 pm Eastern time on May 24 and June 7 and 28. OPM said that a recording will be made available on its YouTube channel.
