Public Service Caucus Formed

A new coalition has been formed of members of Congress interested in civil service issues called the Congressional Public Service Caucus. The goal of the group, which initially has two dozen members from both chambers of Congress and both parties, is to share information on employee issues and help build legislative consensus. A similar group that existed in the ’80s and ’90s called the Federal Government Service Task Force played the same role.
