The Navy announced new duties for two flag officers on Jan. 25.
* Rear Adm. Michael H. Miller will become the new chief of Legislative Affairs in Washington, D.C. Miller formerly served as deputy chief of staff for global force management and joint operations with U.S. Fleet Forces Command in Norfolk, Va.
* Rear Adm. (lower half) Kendall L. Card will become commander of Expeditionary Strike Group Three and Amphibious Group Three in San Diego, Calif. Card formerly was director of command and control systems for North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and director of architectures and integration at U.S. Northern Command, in Colorado Springs, Colo.
