The Air Force has completed the upgrade of its Military Personnel Data System (MilPDS) – the primary database for all personnel activities. The enhancements should improve the access airmen have to their personnel data and transactions. The Air Force Personnel Center shut the old system down March 4 in order to begin the upgrade, which was supposed to take 23 days.
