Qualified enlisted airmen who wish someday to become medical doctors could qualify for a new program that would pave the way for them. Those interested must notify the Air Force Personnel Center of their intent to apply to the new Enlisted to Medical Degree Preparatory Program by email no later than Sept. 6. Selectees will be transferred to the Uniformed Services University for the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md., where they will attend medical prep school for two years. Throughout their tour, they will retain rank, pay and benefits. Coursework will focus on preparation for admission to medical school. Other qualifications and conditions apply.
