First Female Qualifies for Jungle Warfare

Spec. Tinita Taylor has become the first female soldier to complete the Army’s rigorous Jungle Operations Training Course. Taylor, of the Schofield Barracks, Hawaii-based 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, finished graduated from the course June 2. “I feel I am halfway to being the warrior princess I want to be said the three-year veteran, who hails from Caruthersville, Mo. “My goal is to be the first female to complete Ranger school.”
