Former Blue Angels CO Faces Probe

The Navy is probing allegations that Capt. Gregory McWherter, the former commander of the Blue Angels flight-demonstration team, violated service policy on sexual harassment. McWherter was relieved of his duties as executive officer April 18, following a complaint filed with the Navy inspector general’s office alleging that he allowed “lewd speech, inappropriate comments, and sexually explicit humor” in the workplace, according to an official Navy statement.
