The Marine Corps is striving to get its leisure-activities programs right, and wants input from the rank and file to meet that end. Thus, from Oct 17 through Nov. 6, the service is conducing an online voluntary survey of all active-duty and reserve Marines and their spouses, to assess which leisure needs are being met and which are not. "Information obtained from this assessment will identify leisure needs and interests of Marines and their families and provide the framework for directing future resources in sports, fitness, and recreation programs and activities," the Marine Corps said in an Oct. 14 service-wide announcement, MARADMIN 611/11. The survey is available online at http://www.usmc.mccs.org/survey.
