Acting as the lead agency for the armed forces, the Air Force has selected Northrop Grumman to coordinate the Unified Platform Program – a system of integrated cyber capabilities – for U.S. Cyber Command. Once complete, the platform will serve as the main support for “all defensive and offensive cyber operations, as well as cyber intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance for the command. The work will take place at Northrop Grumman’s San Antonio facility, and in Maryland, Georgia, and Ohio.
