Reenlistment Window Temporarily Expanded

The Army will allow some soldiers the option to reenlist from 15 months before their separation date through the actual date they otherwise would leave the service. The temporary extension is being extended to certain quality soldiers the Army would like to retain. Normally, a soldier has between 15 months and 90 days before the completion date of his or her contract to reenlist. The suspension streamlines the process, allowing eligible soldiers an easier path if they want to change their minds about leaving.
