Beginning Nov. 1, retirees can receive their electronic Retiree Account Statements from the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) through their myPay account, the agency announced. The statements, known by the acronym eRAS, include a summary of retirement pay, deductions, and benefits. They also include information about allotments, tax withholdings, direct deposit information, and Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP) premiums. The change gives retirees access to information previously available only once a year, in December, when DFAS issued RAS statements. The web site can be found at https://mmypay.dfas.mil.
