SEAL Dies in Combat

Senior Special Warfare Operator Kyle Milliken was killed in combat in Somalia on May 5, becoming the first U.S. Service member to die in combat in Somalia since 1993. According to the Pentagon, Milliken, a SEAL, died while fighting al Shabaab insurgents in a remote location roughly 40 miles west of Mogadishu. The mission involved support of a Somali army action against the insurgents. Milliken, 38, was from Falmouth, Maine.
