Spouses’ Input Sought

The Defense Department began a survey of active-duty spouses Nov. 19, intended to provide community and family policy officials with input regarding attitudes toward deployment, permanent changes of station, children, and military programs. The biannual Active Duty Spouse Survey will be sent to a sampling of one in 10 military spouses during the next three months. “The questions cover all areas of military life – thinks that we hope are important to the spouses, said Cathy Flynn, a program analyst for the Pentagon’s community and family policy office. The survey is voluntary, and will take about 20 minutes to a half-hour to complete.
