Certain beneficiaries of TRICARE, the military’s managed health-care plan, now have more options when seeking vision and dental care. They are now eligible for coverage under FEDVIP (Federal Employee Dental and Vision Program). The change was authorized as a provision of the 2017 defense-spending bill. More details will emerge once the Office of Personnel Management provides guidance to carriers, the agency announced Jan. 31.
