Waits for Classes Decrease for ETs, FCs

The Navy has decreased the times electronics technicians (ETs) and Fire Controlmen (FCs) must wait for classes. Waits declined to 31 percent as of September, from 53 percent last December, the Navy Personnel Command reports. Officials say the improved efficiency can be credited to a collaborative effort to streamline the enlisted supply chain, by which new sailors are trained in ratings and moved to their first assignments.
