AF Demographic: Women in Uniform

According to the most recent statistics, women comprise 19.6 percent of Air Force members. The officer/enlisted breakdown is fairly even: eighteen percent of all officers and 19.9 percent of all enlisteds are female. Among the 63,365 women on active duty in the Air Force as of April 30, 56.5 percent are line officers. Also, there are 585 female pilots, 231 navigators, and 147 battle managers.
