Air Force retired civilians no longer will be able to use their AF Form 354 civilian identification cards to gain access to Air Force installations early next year. The service is replacing the cards. Civilian retirees should acquire a Department of Defense Civilian Retiree ID card by January, the Air Force Personnel Center advised. The change is part of an overall effort to tighten security at military installations. Civilian retirees typically use the card for access to base Morale, Welfare and Recreation facilities.
