The Air Force Officer Training School Rated Selection Board picked 398 men and women out of a pool of 507 to become officers. Among the selectees were 47 enlisted airmen. The board that selected the group considered academic discipline, grade point average, and scores on the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test. Other factors, such as work experience, accomplishments, character, leadership, and adaptability, also were considered. Selectees will report to officer training at Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala., in 2013 and 2014.
