AFIT Upgrades Distance Learning Program

The Air Force Institute of Technology has achieved two distance-learning (DL) milestones. First, DoD civilians and government contractors across the country now can earn a master’s degree from AFIT without moving to Ohio or leaving their current assignments. Second, is the recent opening of the graduate school’s DL studio suite. The suite constitutes a flexible toolbox that faculty members can use to create streamable content and to interact in real-time with distance learning students. Previously, the school was limited to video-teleconferences with remote students.
