In its continuing effort to keep the best and brightest airmen and guardians in uniform, the Department of the Air Force (DAF) has released its Selective Retention Bonus list for fiscal year 2025, which began last Oct. 1 and extends to Sept. 30.

The bonus would be paid to those in career fields that require extensive training and high qualification standards, when they re-enlist or extend their tours.

Eligible recipients can choose to take the bonus in a lump sum or incremental installments. Career fields this year include maintenance, aircrew, cyber, medical and special operations.
