Air Forces Releases Demographics Data

f the 325,725 officers and airmen serving on active duty with the Air Force as of Dec. 31, roughly 20 percent are women, 15 percent are African American, and 61 percent are married, supporting nearly a half-million family members. The average officer is 35 years old; the average enlisted, 29. The statistics come from a recently released demographic profile.
