The Air Force Aircrew Crisis Task Force is asking aircrews to participate in a confidential career survey now underway. The survey was delivered to each aircrew member via email and will close April 16.

Unlike similar surveys conducted in the past, this year’s is seeking to focus on common feelings and sentiments felt among all ranks. After the results are collected and assessed, the service intends to use them to shape retention efforts and help the task force better focus its engagements with service leadership by sharing the insights provided by survey respondents.

“We have spent years discussing retention issues that were informed by our senior leaders’ formative experiences, but now we can use data to affect the change our Air Force needs,” said Col. Alexander Fafinski, the crisis task force’s director. “We acknowledge that progress is slow, but I want my fellow aircrew to know we closely review every survey response and are advocating aggressively based on your feedback.”
