A Navy board will convene Sept. 20 to review the records of all senior enlisteds (E-7 through E-9 with at least 19 years of service) during the last five years or since their most recent advancement, whichever is later. Those with records that indicate civilian or military misconduct, moral or professional dereliction, continuity gaps of greater than 90 days in evaluation and fitness reports, or indications of substandard or marginal duty performance, will be considered for separation once they reach 20 years of service and qualify for retirement.
