Fit Reps Policies Changed

Navy performance evaluations and fitness reports must conform to new guidelines as of March 15, the service announced. The change, intended to identify the best sailors for advancement, aligns second-class and first-class petty officers under the same recommendation requirements. Limits have been placed on “early promote” and “must promote” designations; combined, they cannot exceed more than 60 percent of the ranking group, according to the Navy announcement.
