The future of the Army will depend upon the ability of the service’s components to work as an integrated team, Gen. David Rodriguez, the chief of Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) said. Rodriguez told an audience of reservists and National Guard members during an Oct. 22 speech at the Association of the U.S. Army’s Annual Meeting and Convention in Washington, D.C., that the Army must maximize “training resources” and inculcate “all lessons we learned in the last 11 years” of war. Those lessons must be disseminated equally among the active and reserve components, Rodriguez said. Soldiers can expect more joint training exercises, he said.
