The survivors of three people who were killed by a soldier in 2015 at Fort Hood, Texas, are suing the federal government. The relatives of Dawn Larson Giffa and two neighbors contend that post officials did not react sufficiently to complaints of domestic violence by the soldier, Spec. Asate Giffa, filed two weeks before the incident, Army Times reported Feb. 23. After killing his wife and the two neighbors, the soldier used the same gun to kill himself at the scene.
