ISIS Leader Captured, Interrogated

The U.S. military is interrogating a high-ranking Islamic State official who was captured by special-operations troops, National Public Radio reported March 2. U.S. authorities planned on turning the man over to Iraqi officials once the interrogation was completed. The IS leader’s capture reflects a refocused strategy, which aims at using Spec Ops assets to hit specific targets.
