Lockheed-Sikorsky Deal Finalized

Lockheed Martin Corp. has finalized the deal to acquire Sikorsky Aircraft, a pioneer in helicopter flight. Sikorsky will keep its name, dropping the word “aircraft” and adding “a Lockheed Martin company.” It also will remain in Stratford, Conn., and employ 15,000 workers around the world.
