The Navy College Program will start moving to fully virtual platforms on Oct 1. The transition to the Navy Virtual Education Center (NCVEC) from traditional brick and mortar would offer a single point of contact for sailors wishing to pursue “personal and professional development opportunities,” the service announced. The decision to go all-virtual was prompted largely by the success of all-virtual classrooms last year, brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic. Interested sailors now an garner any information they may need through the toll-free NCVEC telephone number, 1-833-330-MNCC (6622), selecting “Training and Education,” and then “NCVEC.” Information is also available online at https://www.navycollege.navy.mil.
