The Navy wants all civilian employees and job applicants to use USAJOBS as their site for information about job applications, hiring, and other related announcements, before Sept. 30. The old CHART (Civilian Hiring and Recruitment Tool) system will be no longer available as of Oct.12. The Sept. 30 date is important, Navy officials say, because USAJOBS will be out of service Oct. 6-12 while the site undergoes maintenance.
