Qualified Navy junior Civil Engineer Corps (CEC) officers who agree to extend active duty service for up to five years could qualify for as much as $50,000 in bonuses. Some restrictions apply. For instance, officers receiving the bonus cannot transfer to another community until their entire CEC contract obligation is completed. Applicants must meet medical and physical requirements for sea or field assignments, and must complete their contract before they exceed 25 years of service. For more information, see NAVADMIN 341/07 or visit the Navy Personnel Command Web site.
