New Pay and Benefits Handbook Released

Wounded service members seeking answers to questions they have about compensation and benefits can now look up relevant phone numbers and Web site addresses in the Compensation and Benefits Handbook, offered in hard copy and online versions through the Defense Department. The new handbook, produced jointly by DoD, and the Veterans Affairs, Health and Human Services, Education and Labor departments, and the Social Security Administration, is available at base personnel offices and online at the services’ personnel command Web sites.
