NEXCOM Reduces Fees for Holiday Calls Home

The Navy Exchange Service Command is lowering the price of phone calls to the United States from Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, United Kingdom, Belgium and the Netherlands during seven upcoming holidays beginning with Mother’s Day, May 8. The additional holidays are Father’s Day, June 19; Independence weekend, July 2-4; Labor Day, Sept. 5; Thanksgiving, Nov. 24; Christmas Day, Dec. 25; and New Year’s Day, Jan. 1. Calls from Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and the United Kingdom from land lines using the toll-free numbers will be 5 cents per minute, while calls from the Netherlands and Belgium will be 7 cents per minute during these special days. To receive the lower rates, calls must be made using a NEX phone card, available at Navy Exchanges.
