Report Hails Afghan Progress

A new Pentagon report has lauded the progress made by Afghan military and security forces, in their fight against Taliban insurgents. The report, “Enhancing Security and Stability in Afghanistan,” discussed how Afghan forces repelled Taliban offenses between June 1 and Nov. 20, 2015 — and retook territory the enemy had seized. The progress highlights the need for continued coalition support, the report concluded.
