Guardians can expect to be sized and place orders for their new service dress uniforms sometime beginning later this year and continuing through 2026. For the time being, they will not have to order the new uniforms. Rather, the service will set a mandatory-wear date once the uniform is available to everyone who needs it. Guardians can expect to get a 12-month advanced notice.
“Our service dress uniform represents the unique identity of guardians, blending heritage with a modern design that reflets our unity and mission,” said Gen. Chance Saltzman, Chief of Space Operations. “From the start, guardian feedback shaped its design and fit. I know the force will wear it with pride.”
Recruiters, training instructors, ROTC December graduates, honor guards, White House social aides and senior leaders will get first shot at the new uniforms once they become available sometime in November.
December graduates from basic and officer training will graduate in the new uniform. Those stationed in the National Capitol region should have theirs by mid-December.
For the time being, they will not have to order the new uniforms. Rather, the service will set a mandatory-wear date once the uniform is available to everyone who needs it.
Guardians can expect to get a 12-month advanced notice. Those who are stationed near military clothing sales outlets can begin ordering their new uniforms in November and December, and should expect delivery by June.
Anyone who doesn’t have access to uniform stores can order theirs online beginning in January, and expect delivery by next June.
