VA Workers Told To Lie

Staff workers at Department of Veterans Affairs medical facilities were told to lie by their bosses about patient wait times, USA Today reported April 7. The paper uncovered the deceptive practice, which took place at facilities in seven states, after reviewing the results of more than 70 internal investigations. Some incidents occurred after the 2014 scandal that rocked the agency, which revealed that veterans had died while waiting for treatment at VA’s Phoenix Medical Center.
