The World’s Biggest Case Lot Sale will offer “world-class” savings at nearly 270 commissaries in September. Most stores are participating, according to Patrick B. Nixon, chief executive officer and acting director for the Defense Commissary Agency, adding that customers can save up to 50 percent or more off regular prices during case lot sales. The sales typically feature cases of canned goods, beverages, cleaning or laundry products, and occasionally fresh chicken, pork or beef. The worldwide sale is held annually in May and September. Since commissaries may run their sales any time during the month, shoppers who live in regions with multiple commissaries may be able to hit several different sales during September.
