The Office of Personnel Management is offering a course for
March 8-12 for program managers responsible for contracting
and managing competitively sourced functions, as well as
for acquisition professionals responsible for awarding and
administering service contracts.
Given in Washington D.C. by the Eastern Management
Development Center, in partnership with Acquisition Solutions,
Inc., “Seven Steps to Performance-Based Acquisition and
Effective Contract Performance Management,” focuses on how
to create results oriented contracts via theory, current
federal policy, and experience.
Participants are taught a seven-step acquisition and
management process by applying it in the classroom to their
own current acquisition requirements. This course provides
24 professional development units by the Project Management
Institute and 2.4 CEUs. The $1,800 fee tuition and course
