The application period will run May 1-June 9 for the annual Chief Executive Officer “CXO Fellowship program”, a virtual professional development program in the areas of acquisitions/procurement, financial management/budget, human capital, information technology, and data, geared to federal employees currently at GS-9 through -13 nationwide.
The program, sponsored by the government-wide C-suite level councils, offers educational seminars and events over a one-year period. There is no charge for participation but approval of the immediate supervisor is necessary.
“CXO Fellows remain in their current positions at their home agency and come together about three times a month (on Fridays) as a cohort for developmental sessions in leadership, cross-functional and interagency collaboration, and career development. In these sessions, CXO Fellows meet with leaders in the federal management community and gain valuable insight into innovative initiatives and best practices,” says a posting at https://cfo.gov/cxo-fellows.
