The Army has named co-winners of its Nick Hoge professional
essay competition, an annual program dedicated to promoting
excellence in civilian human resources management. The
winners are Daniel Hayes of the Corps of Engineers
(Jacksonville District) in West Palm Beach, Fla. and Evan
Krauss of the office of the assistant G-1, (civilian
personnel policy) in Alexandria, Va. They were recognized
for papers on the implementation of the Department of
Defense’s national security personnel system.
