The Army has released a mobile application designed to allow better information sharing among its research laboratories and across government, as well as to make public information more accessible.
The application contains facts and media about each laboratory, as well as an RSS news feed that pulls science and technology articles from across the defense laboratory enterprise, the Army said, and can be updated to bring in news from across the DoD.
The Army said the app should facilitate transparency and knowledge sharing through the department and government-wide, in particular for federal personnel looking for research results or desiring to collaborate with other labs.
