The National Treasury Employees Union has announced the
launch of a site for Department of Homeland Security
employees designed as a resource for the implementation
of new personnel regulations.
The site — dhs.nteu.org — contains links to legislative
developments related to homeland security, press releases
and negotiation issues, and describes how the union is
trying “to mitigate the impact of the new DHS regulations
on employees,” said NTEU.
It said the final regulations will be out soon and that
once published, would “impact employee pay, bargaining
rights, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions
and appeals processes,” and that DHS employees other
means to email questions and comments to NTEU.
