DHS has announced new openings through its Loaned Executive Program to support travel and tourism under TSA and Customs and Border Protection, where it stands to benefit from outside help without footing the bill.
Openings include a senior advisor position that will advise TSA and CBP on improving customer service, crowd management and logistics positions to advise the agencies on issues related to the airport systems flow of passengers, and a staffing models position that will help CBP on issues related to the development and management of enterprise level personnel management.
The positions are for six-months with the option for a six-month renewal. DHS structured the program so that executives continue to draw their existing salaries and benefits from whatever companies they are on loan from.
