
The House has passed:
* HR-5616, to require DHS to report annually to the Congress on the accreditation status of all basic law enforcement training programs within the department; and to carry out research and development to enhance state, local, tribal, and territorial law enforcement access to training on homeland security threats.
* S-658 to authorize DHS to coordinate with a consortium of academic and nonprofit entities to deliver cybersecurity training and technical assistance to state and local governments and help them respond to cybersecurity risks.
