The Office of Personnel Management has announced that
enrollments in agency online training programs and the
GoLearn service provider jumped from about 180,000 in
2003 to 655,000 in 2004.
Agencies participating in the “e-training initiative
solution” increased to 70 in 2004, and OPM said it
expects participation to increase further with the
addition of service providers NTIS and FasTrac to
GoLearn, following a new makeover of the GoLearn site
to improve navigation and functionality.
OPM said e-training could “transform the government wide
resource into a portal connecting appropriate federal
and non-federal employees to e-learning content and
