Federal Manager's Daily Report

The Federal Reserve Board was ranked lowest among nine federal agencies in a Gallup poll conducted in July, with just 30 percent of those questioned saying the agency is doing an excellent or good job.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, NASA, and the FBI topped the list, with over 60 percent of respondents saying CDC is performing at an excellent, or good level.

The CIA and DHS brought up the middle, with public opinion roughly split on their performance, according to the poll, which was based on just over one thousand telephone interviews. Slightly lower in esteem were the EPA, IRS and FDA.
