Federal Manager's Daily Report

President Obama has reappointed the chair and other members of the Federal Service Impasses Panel, which resolves deadlocks among agencies and unions arising from negotiations over employment conditions.

Obama reappointed former American Federation of Government Employees union attorney Mary Jacksteit, as chair, and Martin Malin (Director of the Institute for Law and the Workplace at Chicago-Kent College of Law) and labor relations professional Donald Wasserman as members of the panel, which is an independent entity within the Federal Labor Relations Authority.
