Nominations are being accepted through December 29 for the Arthur S. Flemming Awards, one of the government’s longest-established awards for federal employees who have made an outstanding contribution to public service either through a single exceptional accomplishment (in 2009 in this case) or on a sustained basis.
The categories are applied science, engineering and mathematics; basic science; and managerial or legal achievement. All federal employees with between three and 15 years of service are eligible for nomination. More information is at http://www.gwu.edu/~flemming.
