GSA has added about 500 qualified industry partners to its GSA 8(a) STARS II governmentwide acquisition contract (GWAC) that is designed to help agencies meet their small business goals under the SBA’s 8(a) business development program.
“GSA’s awarding of the 8(a) STARS II Open Season demonstrates our commitment to provide government with a competitive pool of contractors representing some of the most innovative 8(a) IT firms,” the announcement said. “The ability to issue directed orders to firms streamlines procurements and allows agencies to meet small business objectives while obtaining services faster than traditional open market acquisitions.”
The 8(a) STARS II GWAC is a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that centers on four functional areas: custom computer programming services; computer systems design services; computer facilities management services; and other computer related services.
This contract is available for ordering through August 30, 2021, with performance through August 30, 2024.
