GSA has issued a request for information for innovative, transformational green building technologies in support of its Green Proving Ground program.
It is seeking information from industry stakeholders, commercial organizations, educational institutions and non-profit organizations on technologies that have the potential to improve economic and environmental performance in federal buildings.
The request invites technology manufacturers and industry stakeholders to submit information on promising technologies, which will be used in the selection process for technologies to test for 2015, GSA said.
It said selected technologies would be matched with federally owned buildings to pilot measurement and verification by objective third-party evaluators, and that the results would inform public- and private-sector investment decisions, helping to accelerate commercialization and adoption within GSA, other federal agencies, and the real estate industry.
